1.Typographical Errors

K-STAR Website typographical errors: K-STAR strives to insure the information on its website is accurate. If there are any typographical errors or mistakes in pricing, K-STAR is not obligated to honor the mistaken price. We constantly review our site to insure the information displayed is accurate and updated.

2.EPA Regulations

 

Important Notice - Purchaser hereby acknowledges that federal law prohibits opening the refrigeration lines of any equipment purchase. A properly licensed person must handle the refrigerant contained in any unit/system. Purchaser hereby assumes full responsibility for the safe and proper installation in accordance with applicable local code requirements .

 

3.Warranty Policies

K-STAR will honor the parts? warranty offered by the manufacturer.
Please see factory parts warranty information that accompanies these units, or is listed on the website.

As you are acting as your own contractor, K-STAR does not provide labor warranty, if you require replacement warranty parts.

K-STAR will help the customer obtain the needed parts under the manufacturer part warranty. There will be a $25.00 handling fee for this service. The cost of the replacement part will be billed at time of shipping to customer along with applicable ground shipping charges. However, if the defective part is returned within 30 days, the cost of the part less the $25.00 handling fee will be credited back to the customer.

The defective part must be returned to K-STAR within 30 days after receipt of the replacement part, or it will be considered a part purchase and not a warranty claim. Your licensed installer can also get warranty parts through local supply houses directly.

K-STAR can request a report from a qualified technician prior to issuing a warranty claim number on certain claims; including, but not limited to, Compressor Replacement, Motor Replacement and Heat Exchanger Replacement.
